When Bobby Seaux founded Bobby’s Paint & Body Shop in 1984, he took a big chance. He was a welder and fabricator working in the oilfield industry – but that industry was falling apart in Lafayette. So he dared to start a small auto paint and body shop – relying on his own strong work ethic and will to succeed. Determined to provide the best vehicle repair and vehicle painting services possible, he got a loan to secure a facility and went to work.
Bobby’s Paint & Body Shop began with just one building and a handful of employees. The business grew steadily over the first few years, due to the fact that they provided amazing body work at fair prices – combined with great customer service. It didn’t take long before business was so good that Bobby realized he needed to expand his facilities. An extension was built onto the original building to provide more work space – then later a second new building was added. Eventually, the shop’s scope of services also grew beyond vehicle repair and vehicle painting to include vehicle alignment, headlight restoration, buffing and polishing, paintless dent repair and used auto sales.
Over the years, the team of professionals at Bobby’s has grown to more than a dozen full-time employees who have dedicated their careers to providing excellent body shop services – while also ensuring that their customers feel comfortable and know that they will be treated right.
